Announcing Plywood Regatta Details

Chautauqua Lake Regattas

Proudly Presents

1st Annual Plywood Boat Regatta

The Plywood Regatta is a three-day event, 2 days of boat building, followed by racing on

Saturday. This event introduces young marine enthusiasts and the community to the

craft of boat building. In addition, the Plywood Boat Regatta event will introduce the art of giving back to

the community and provide financial support to WCA Hospital Cancer Care Center and Camp Onyahsa.

Net proceeds benefit Chautauqua Lake Regattas' beneficiaries – W.C.A. Cancer

Care Center and YMCA Camp Onyahsa Scholarship Fund. The aims of these programs

are to encourage marine education and develop youth interest in the marine industry.

Chautauqua Lake Regattas recognizes these young Plywood Regatta participants as

future boaters and workers in community service and seeks to provide them with

opportunities for growth and development.
